Jon Neuhaus received his Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management (2002) with concentrations in finance and strategy. Jon earned a bachelor's degree in political science and history from the University of California at Berkeley (1995). Mr. Neuhaus graduated with High Honors and High Distinction in General Scholarship. Jon also played on Cal's Ice Hockey team. He is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy (1990).
Jon Neuhaus serves on the Board of City Year Los Angeles.. City Year is a national youth service corps that places 17-26-year-olds in schools to serve as tutors, mentors and role models. Mr. Neuhaus has a long history with City Year. He served as a Corps member in 1990-1991 in Boston, after graduating from Phillips Exeter Academy and prior to matriculating at U.C. Berkeley as an undergraduate. Jon also served as a member of the Start-Up Team in Chicago in 1994. Jon additionally helped the Start-Up Team in San Jose in 1993-94, while he was still a student at U.C. Berkeley. Mr. Neuhaus was a Founding Citizen of City Year Los Angeles. He recently served as Co-Chair of City Year Los Angeles' Red Jacket Society. The Red Jacket Society is City Year's major individual donor campaign.
Jon sponsors service dogs for the National Education for Assistance Dog Services. Jon’s father, Rev. Lee A. Neuhaus, was a recipient of a service dog before his passing in 2005. Since, Jon has supported the training of several service dogs at NEADS. Jon also helps to further donate through the sales of a book Jon helped publish, a book authored by Thomas W. Mr. Neuhaus coached Little League baseball in Southern California from 2010-2015 and in 2017. Jon also coached in North Oakland Little League while a student at U.C. Berkeley from 1993-1995. Jon continues to play ice hockey, which he also played competitively from age 3 up through college.
Jon’s passion for sports extends beyond baseball and ice hockey. A co-owner of the Green Bay Packers (the Packers are the NFL’s only fan-owned franchise), Jon also is Executive Producer of “The 60 Yard Line,” a romantic comedy about Mr. Neuhaus' beloved Packers. The movie received acclaim on the film festival circuit, including Best Comedy at the Los Angeles Independent Filmmakers Showcase in 2017. The film enjoyed a theatrical release in the September 2017.
